Rash On Thighs And Elbows

The province of Misiones has a lot to explore and learn. Has a lot of story to tell in every city, place, and corner of it. So my goal for this year, show the reader the different places that make the history of missions and the region. Today we begin by walking through the JESUIT MISSIONS in the province of Misiones, later we will be in the Trinidad and Jesus Reductions in Paraguay.
For a little context to the reader, begin with a brief synopsis of what happened in these lands in the middle of the seventeenth century.
When the English arrived in these lands, one of the aims of conquest and colonization was the evangelization of indigenous peoples, as mentioned in the past, the Europeans regarded the native people, as men without God ( cronicasdemitierracolorada.blogspot.com/2008/10/12-de-octubre-descubrimiento-o.html ) principle of "tabula rasa", here is a denial of indigenous peoples, their religion.
Returning to the theme, once installed, the priests of the Society of Jesus doomed to evangelization, founded 30 towns, seven in Brazil, eight in Paraguay and fifteen in Argentina, of which twelve were in the mission territory.

Currently only remaining vestiges of six towns that make up the International Circuit of the Jesuit missions in Misiones are San Ignacio Mini, Santa Ana, Our Lady of Loreto, Santa Maria Maggiore and in Paraguay, Trinidad and Jesus . These are the ruins that retain vestiges older, some were reconstituted, in part, as San Ignacio, and others remain in its natural state of Loreto.

But others such as San Jose, Apostles San Carlos, Concepcion, etc. disappeared completely, first by the Portuguese invasions and Paraguay between 1816 and 1819. And secondly because of the looting that suffered in the early twentieth century with the settlement of the earlier waves of immigrants, people who built on the foundations of the old reductions of raw material used.

the Guarani

San Ignacio Mini was established in 1696 at the site of the ruins today. As with other reductions Paraguayans and destroyed them in 1817. The ruins of San Ignacio Mini was restored in full in the 1940's, with contributions from European countries such as Spain and Italy.
reduction is most visited by tourists because it is where you can see more accurately the urban layout of the ancient civilization.
After 18 hours, you can witness a sound and light show with music background Guarani remains throughout the course of the visitor.

The city of San Ignacio is located about 60 km from the city of Posadas, get to the ruins is very easy since the town is small and there are several signs that indicate how to reach.
