The least visited: Loreto and Santa Ana Jesuit Missions

reductions of Our Lady of Loreto and Santa Ana are the least visited of the Jesuit Missions. The reason, perhaps because they are found in a more natural state compared to those of San Ignacio that are partially rebuilt or also by the lack of promoting them.
The ruins of Loreto is located 6 km away from San Ignacio Mini, Santa Ana and are about 12 km
To enter the ruins of Loreto to do about 3 km from the provincial route 12. The asphalt is in poor condition that makes entry and makes it the least visited of all. Despite these obstacles are those who dare to visit.
At
it is received by the tourist guides, according to the number of people accompanying you during the tour (about 1 ½ miles) telling the whole story and more significant. At the entrance is a museum that displays objects found in the reduction and a model that reconstructs the Jesuit Mission.

At the beginning of the tour, like we're in a great expanse of forest since it does not see any evidence short of past civilization. As we move into the tour van sighting some loose stones and walls that managed to remain standing throughout the years. First stop

are excavations that took place in ancient latrines reductions where they found remains of pottery, glass and ceramic bottles brought by the Jesuits from Europe. The guide shows us the pit and told us that are still preserved wooden beams that supported the structure of the latrines. Later
stands the temple area, where are buried the remains of Antonio Ruiz de Montoya

Following the tour, the second stop is the sample of one of the few managed to stay upright walls, belonging to the Chapel of Our Lady of Loreto. This is another element significant, because it contains a ceremonial plaza and a processional route were revalued at the present time and are now part of the religious activities of the community.

This reduction was the first American printing (now displayed in a museum in the city of Cordoba) and also with a large library. This reduction was founded in 1610 by religious and Simon Joseph Cataldino Masceta.

SANTA ANA

The first Jesuit foundation of the town of Santa Ana dates from 1633 in Brazilian territory. Following the invasions of the frontiersmen was shifting, until in 1639, sits near your current location to move to the final location in 1660.
is one of the best preserved reductions and more bulky architectural remains, a remarkable resolution from urban adaptation to uneven terrain.

In this reduction we can see some of the walls of the temple which is located in the center of civilization. At his side is located the cemetery, which has a chapel. Here we do not have a professional guide, so we did our own tour for places that seemed more interesting, including the cemetery.

As we said in the previous post, access to these reductions are achieved through the presentation of the ticket is valid for the four Jesuit Missions.
If you are thinking of visiting missions to visit consider all cuts, all have their charms and history to tell. In addition to being very close between each other.

Rash On Thighs And Elbows

The province of Misiones has a lot to explore and learn. Has a lot of story to tell in every city, place, and corner of it. So my goal for this year, show the reader the different places that make the history of missions and the region. Today we begin by walking through the JESUIT MISSIONS in the province of Misiones, later we will be in the Trinidad and Jesus Reductions in Paraguay.
For a little context to the reader, begin with a brief synopsis of what happened in these lands in the middle of the seventeenth century.
When the English arrived in these lands, one of the aims of conquest and colonization was the evangelization of indigenous peoples, as mentioned in the past, the Europeans regarded the native people, as men without God ( cronicasdemitierracolorada.blogspot.com/2008/10/12-de-octubre-descubrimiento-o.html ) principle of "tabula rasa", here is a denial of indigenous peoples, their religion.
Returning to the theme, once installed, the priests of the Society of Jesus doomed to evangelization, founded 30 towns, seven in Brazil, eight in Paraguay and fifteen in Argentina, of which twelve were in the mission territory.

Currently only remaining vestiges of six towns that make up the International Circuit of the Jesuit missions in Misiones are San Ignacio Mini, Santa Ana, Our Lady of Loreto, Santa Maria Maggiore and in Paraguay, Trinidad and Jesus . These are the ruins that retain vestiges older, some were reconstituted, in part, as San Ignacio, and others remain in its natural state of Loreto.

But others such as San Jose, Apostles San Carlos, Concepcion, etc. disappeared completely, first by the Portuguese invasions and Paraguay between 1816 and 1819. And secondly because of the looting that suffered in the early twentieth century with the settlement of the earlier waves of immigrants, people who built on the foundations of the old reductions of raw material used.

Housing
the Guarani

San Ignacio Mini was established in 1696 at the site of the ruins today. As with other reductions Paraguayans and destroyed them in 1817. The ruins of San Ignacio Mini was restored in full in the 1940's, with contributions from European countries such as Spain and Italy.
reduction is most visited by tourists because it is where you can see more accurately the urban layout of the ancient civilization.
After 18 hours, you can witness a sound and light show with music background Guarani remains throughout the course of the visitor.

Portal

The city of San Ignacio is located about 60 km from the city of Posadas, get to the ruins is very easy since the town is small and there are several signs that indicate how to reach.
The cost of tickets varies depending on the nationality of the visitor. Then I leave the current rates.

Foreign
American General $ 25 $ 20 $ 15

National Resident $ 5
Retired missionaries, students of all levels, under 6, disabled people and local residents free of charge. Upon presentation of national identity. With the same ticket You can go the other reductions in the province of Misiones.

Guaraní Jesuit Missions were a social experience, cultural and religious unique in its kind, developed in the heart of the Cuenca del Plata. He was one of the most shocking episodes in the history of mankind, led by native peoples and the Jesuits.
know in the next posting reductions in Santa Ana and Loreto.

Hands Turn Red After Eating

some time ago, in the city of Posadas, was launched integrated transport system urban. This system consists of three integrated terminal stations, where it brings together all the feeder lines, namely small groups usually yellow and green. Then from there come the collective core, the biggest double jointed, ranging towards the center lanes and streets of downtown certain Posadas.

Transfer Station Campus UNAM

The first of the three terminals called Posadas integration Campus UNAM, for being near the National University Mission, and articulates the transport corridor for the south of the capital, which includes 60 percent of the passengers. This brings together the collective terminal feeders, green, including those from the municipalities of Garupá and Candelaria. The passenger goes to the heart of Posadas making the green in your neighborhood that leads to the terminal of integration there, without paying new ticket, take one of the buses that go downtown. These vehicles, trunks, yellow, are larger than the feed, among them there are six double articulated units with a capacity of 150 passengers and air conditioning.

Double Swivel Collective

This system represents a series of benefits to passengers when compared to the old system of transport, which was chaos. Since each neighborhood had its own line of bus going towards the center, representing a traffic jam on almost every street in the downtown, in total about 30, now circulating in 6 blocks, which lightens the traffic.
can also increase the average speed of the groups, if used to go to 8 miles per hour, now can lift in certain avenues, up to 20 km per hour.

At first, I remember, that the implementation of the system was a real problem. Because people are not used to change lines, which had trouble memorizing lines going to certain places, plus the routes were changed, stops in for a series of changes that were installed in Posadas citizenship. But that did not cost much, (I think) because as you know all change is always towards the benefit of people.
In this sense we can say that Posadas, resembles Curitiba Brazil, since the system is the same as applies in the city and that success is more than 30 years.

For those familiar with the integrated and commuters, What do you think deserves this new system? Do you agree or disagree?

In Posadas Misiones since November last year began operating a space dedicated entirely to culture. A space that grew under the premise " knowledge gives us equal and the same opportunities ." A place where you can access for free all missionaries. It is the long awaited (And wealthy) former government project engineer Carlos Rovira, the Knowledge Centre. Located at the intersection of Route 12 and the new access west of the city of Posadas, Misiones

At the same name is its essence " the pursuit of knowledge in all its forms, the concern to the research, the possibility of having a space for reading, the scope for expression in various skills, tools to connect with the world, the technology for children, youth and adults. "

Wishing not to fall into certain political views, is a project beyond criticism, brings to the public and missionary culture, thus generating new possibilities and forms of knowledge.

EXILES IN THEIR OWN LAND

original land owners suffer Conquest law introduced in 1492 and have validated the various national governments since 1810 to date. So a company can give away their land to them within and but they exist.
All human beings have the right to live in freedom, security and tranquility that is denied to these communities by not handing the title to the land that rightfully belongs to them, with psychological and social instability that this creates.
